Are you a creative person and do you like to work with children? Then this volunteer opportunity is for you!
After school children come to our club, soak up the positive attention and have a great time. We are currently looking for an artistic person who can develop fun and creative projects for our kids’ club.
Our kids’ club in Spoorwijk/Laak is open on Monday, Thursday and Friday. We can accommodate some 13 children at a time. We work primarily with the Reggio Emilia method which strives to increase children’s creativity rather than restrict it. We do crafts, games, play outside, eat fruit together etc. The age-bracket of the children is 4-10.
Bij-1 organizes the kids’ club. Bij-1 is a small foundation; for more information see www.bij-1.nl Together with other volunteers and interns you run the kids’club, make the children feel welcome and let them forget their worries for a while. We like to offer them projects that are fun, creative and well thought out. That is why we are looking for a creative individual/artist who can help us with that.
