Then becoming an energy coach is for you!
An energy coach helps residents in the region to make their homes more sustainable. You will not work as an expert, but as a neighbor with knowledge. You show opportunities and possibilities and you motivate people to make adjustments.
Before you get started, you will be offered training. During the activities as an energy coach you will be guided and you can contact an experienced coach for questions.
Energy coach training
The training for energy coaches aimed at tenants consists of 2-3 training sessions of 3-4 hours. There is also an online training that you can follow independently. You will learn how to give advice to fellow residents and you will also receive a certificate upon successful completion.
Work energy coach
As an energy coach you help fellow residents with sustainability. You visit, have a conversation of 1-2 hours and then give tailor-made advice. We have a monthly meeting with the group to support each other and share developments. Furthermore, there are also many events related to the energy transition in which we can use support.
Costs and Fee
The costs for the training are reimbursed by an umbrella organization if you will be a volunteer during the next 1-2 years and there is a volunteer fee.
