Summary
Member Rotaract Scheveningen-The Hague.
Detailed description
Feel good, Do good
Young people creating local and international projects, supported by a global network.
Rotaract is a community of young professionals and students who want to contribute to society while developing their skills.
We support local and international initiatives focused on social challenges and environmental issues. At the same time, our members strengthen their personal and professional growth through trainings, workshops, hands-on projects, and engagement with an international network.
We meet every two weeks on Tuesday for our club meeting and drinks at Pavlov (Spui, The Hague). We also organise informal activities such as dinners, walks through the city, and national Rotaract events.
We are currently looking for new volunteers. Are you motivated and eager to make a positive impact? Come meet us—you’re welcome to join a meeting or activity without any obligation.
About Rotaract Den Haag - Scheveningen
Rotaract is a service club for anyone aged 18 or older – working or studying – who wants to make an active contribution to society. We are committed to charitable work for the local and (inter)national public interest. In addition, the Rotaracters develop by expanding their network, following masterclasses and workshops, organizing events and projects.
Rotaract is a network of members organized into local Rotaract Clubs. The members want to make a contribution to society in addition to their job or study activities. A Rotaracter is ambitious, enthusiastic, open-minded and has an international vision.
In addition to the biweekly meeting and drinks on Tuesday in Pavlov (on the Spui in The Hague), we occasionally go for a bite or a walk in The Hague or visit a national activity. Sometimes we cross national borders in the context of RAC, such as visiting a convention in Rome or Moscow. In recent decades, Rotaract Club Scheveningen has organized the volleyball tournament (PBT) for all Rotaract clubs in the Netherlands on the beach of Scheveningen, which has already raised more than 15,000 euros for local charities. Last but not least, we also have the famous Club Weekend, an annual success.
