Summary
Do a treasure hunt in the neighborhood together with children. You supervise them and help if they run into problems.Detailed description
As a supervisor of this treasure hunt, you guide children, help provide lunch and ensure that the participants have a fun and enjoyable time. You will also help with the preparation of the activity. Afterwards you help clean up.
Before the scavenger hunt, a preparation meeting takes place in which all volunteers get to know each other and the scavenger hunt is discussed. A basic youth work workshop is also given. The date for this meeting will be determined in consultation with the participants.
You start the day by welcoming the children. You ensure that the children play safely and follow the rules. It is important that everyone has a fun and safe day.
We carry out this activity with both Dutch and international volunteers. Due to the children's diverse backgrounds, not all of them speak Dutch or English equally well.
If you register as a volunteer, we will apply for a Certificate of Good Conduct for you.
