Summary

During the daytime activities on Saturday for elderly people with early memory problems, a warm & tasty meal is prepared and consumed together.

Detailed description

We are looking for a volunteer who wants to cook for visitors every Saturday during the daytime activities. These are elderly people from the Benoordenhout district who have early memory problems. The daytime activities take place every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Lunch is served at 12.30pm. The kitchen is then cleaned up again.


Evita Lokaal offers meaningful daytime activities with a varied program that is tailored to the wishes and interests of visitors and where they are mentally and physically active. The program focuses on various topics, such as daily news, history, art, culture, literature and creativity.

All this in a pleasant atmosphere where visitors are guided by a permanent and enthusiastic team.

Everyone is welcome to participate in the activities and many people often volunteer as well. They cook, are hostesses or hosts or take care of the program. Evita Lokaal is a real House of the Neighborhood, for and by neighborhood residents.
