About Iedereen een Meester

“It takes a village to raise a child” is an African proverb that means that an entire community is needed to allow the child to grow and develop in a safe and healthy environment. “Everyone a Master” is the Dutch translation of this. Everyone is a Master: The Netherlands has many people with a great diversity of knowledge, talents and qualities. What would it be like if we did not leave education only to hardworking teachers, but rather used the knowledge and energy available in society to help these teachers and apply it to the needs of the schools? Energy from local residents, grandparents and professionals living and/or working in The Hague? Then there is a master for everyone. The pressure on teachers decreases, the attention for students increases and we work together to create a learning and living environment where our children can become masters again and through which our society can develop in a positive way. Together we are committed to helping the schools and ensuring that the children receive the knowledge, inspiration and support they need to develop properly. We do this by offering knowledge and expertise free of charge to our schools with support that suits the wishes and needs of the school.
