Accountant / Administrative employee

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Taking over administrations: Taking over the financial administrations of multiple companies that are currently outsourced. You ensure that these are integrated smoothly and efficiently into our internal processes.
• Tax returns: Submitting various tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Monthly reports: Providing monthly reports for shipping companies within our group. This includes analyzing and reporting financial data to monitor and improve performance.
• Executing payment transactions: Managing and executing payment transactions, including checking and processing payments and maintaining contacts with banks and other financial institutions.
• Selection of accounting packages: Evaluating and selecting suitable accounting packages that meet the needs of our different companies. This includes assessing functionalities, costs, user-friendliness and integration options with existing systems.
• Preparation of annual accounts, budgets and project budgets: Preparing detailed annual accounts and ensuring their timely submission, accurate budgets and project budgets to ensure the financial health and prospects of the company.
• Calculating new projects: Analyzing and calculating new projects to determine the financial feasibility and potential returns.
• Keeping balance sheets and profit and loss accounts in order: Continuously monitoring and maintaining the balance sheets and profit and loss accounts to ensure an accurate representation of the financial position.
