Summary

We are seeking a reliable and organised individual to join our team as Kitchen Coordinator.

Detailed description

As Kitchen Coordinator you will ensure our community café is well stocked and organised, playing a vital role in keeping things running smoothly. From managing food supplies to maintaining kitchen equipment, you’ll ensure everything is in place for a successful week.


Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure all necessary food ingredients and café items are purchased and/or ordered on a weekly/monthly basis.

- Manage the inventory, keeping track of what’s in stock and what needs to be replenished.

- Oversee the shopping or ordering process, ensuring timely restocking while keeping within budget.

- Maintain kitchen equipment, arranging for repairs or replacements when needed.

- Work with volunteers to ensure the kitchen is organised and ready for service.


Skills & Qualities:

- Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.

- Ability to manage inventory and anticipate future needs.

- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and appliances.

- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
