The Viable Community is a sustainability organization that aims to protect and preserve nature. We are seeking a self-motivated volunteer with experience in digital workspace management.
At Viable Community we believe that a seamless digital workspace empowers our teams to collaborate, innovate, and thrive. We are a sustainability focussed NGO that believes in leveraging technology to drive productivity and enhance the employee experience.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Drive adoption of collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, ClickUp, and Canva
- Oversee digital workplace tools, ensuring they are configured, maintained, and optimized for usability.
- Collaborate with IT and HR teams to improve digital onboarding and employee experience
- Provide leadership in supporting and troubleshooting digital workspace tools
- Deliver training programs and knowledge-sharing initiatives to improve platform adoption
- Stay up-to-date on digital workplace trends and technologies
- Recommend new tools and features to enhance productivity, collaboration, and engagement

Time Commitment
- 6 hours a week but ideally more.
- Meetings every 2 weeks, usually in the evenings around 8pm for 1 to 2 hours.
- Flexibility to complete tasks when you are available.
Location
- Remote role that can be based anywhere
- Requires a computer and good internet connection.
