Summary

Would you like to help make beautiful wall hangings about our slavery past? You don't need to have any knowledge of handicrafts.

Detailed description

At several locations in the city, large tapestries are being worked on around the history of slavery. Many people are working on this, using different techniques such as embroidery, quilting, punching, tufting.

  • These tapestries are intended to be made by many people.
  • It brings us together.
  • It's fun and very cozy.
  • We can't do it without your efforts!

You decide how many hours you have available, when you can and at which location. We are located in the Grote Kerk, the library in Laak and Ypenburg, the Kunstmuseum and Theater de Regentes.

You will be guided by someone who understands textile techniques.
