In this workshop, you will learn how to integrate volunteering into job-hunting, as well as career opportunities for internationals.

During the workshop, Sarah will share her own experience of going from an international student to working for a Dutch employer. You will learn more about the working culture in the Netherlands as well as the key economic clusters of the region. You will gain practical information on job hunting and career opportunities for internationals, and Sarah will share how volunteering may be a career strategy to unlock new opportunities.

This workshop is part of the Mix & Match Volunteer Job Fair held on November 30 alongside four more workshops: “Decompress from Stress: 3 Ways to Find Inner Calm & How Volunteering Helps You," by Vassia Sarantopoulou, "From Change to Growth: How Volunteering Helps You Thrive Through Transitions," by Tatjana San Luis, "Make Dreams Reality: Build Your Business & Leverage Volunteering for Growth," by Alexandra Titova and "Bring Your Cultural Events & Ideas to Life: Easy Funding with CultuurSchakel," by Liesbeth Simons. While event registration is not mandatory, we would greatly appreciate it if you could take a moment to secure your spot. Your registration not only helps us plan better but also ensures we can provide you with the best possible experience. Thank you for your consideration, and we look forward to welcoming you to the Mix & Match Volunteer Job Fair!

About the speaker: Sarah Feid is an account manager at The Hague International Centre, where she helps to provide easy-to-navigate support for individuals seeking to make the Netherlands their new home. As an international, she knows from first-hand experience how important it is for those relocating to have a place to turn to with questions, and she is passionate about ensuring internationals receive this warm welcome. Sarah is in close contact with employers and internationals and strives to help newcomers in The Hague region by providing assistance and information about working and living in The Hague region.
