  • Manage interactions with our Instagram audience that result from such content.
  • Integrate the AWT brand identity into your content.
  • Balance and prioritize different content types and formats, accounting for current affairs, an overall empowering effect of our content on our audience, collaborating with other accounts, etc.
  • Manage your part of the content calendar while aligning with colleagues.
  • Keep track of the success rate of your content, and change tactics as needed in order to improve.
  • Contribute ideas for improving our strategy and seek growth opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Committed to (advocating for) veganism and having knowledge of current developments and (social media) initiatives that are taking place in connection with advocating for this cause.

Even though the role is remote, we're looking for someone who is based in the area of Den Haag, or who otherwise is able and willing to travel to attend our cosy team meetings that take place on a monthly basis (each 2nd Saturday of the month).

Note: The above structure outlines a departure point for your role as a social media coordinator. Adjustments can be made based on specific preferences or additional details you may provide.

About Advocates Who Thrive

At Advocates Who Thrive we empower current or aspiring advocates to become more influential in their fight for social and environmental justice.

We do so by offering them training and coaching opportunities that build their confidence, capacity and competences to speak up, lobby & campaign for the environment, animal rights, human rights and inclusion.

In order to successfully address these urgent societal challenges, we need all kinds of angles and viewpoints to be on board. That’s where our main activities – the intensive, multi-day training courses that we organize – come in. Where international youth from all kinds of backgrounds come together. The training setup in combination with their passion and collective drive allows them to fully focus on the topic and on each other. As a result, participants develop themselves and each other in ways they never imagined before.

Fully in line with these values, in our organization we welcome and involve youth from all walks of life. No matter their background, religion, education, ethnicity, gender identity, or sexual orientation, everyone is welcome to join!
