Summary
Are you an organizer with a good dose of energy, do you make contact easily and do you like to go out with residents of the AZC? Read on!Detailed description
For the reception of asylum seekers in the Binckhorst The Hague, we are looking for volunteers who want to help with devising, organizing and supervising activities.
We are looking for creative people with good ideas, organizers who can set it up, but above all enthusiasts who can easily make contact, want to guide and participate.
Think of activities such as exploring the city or visiting companies, factories, organizations, parks, sports and/or cultural places - getting to know the Netherlands, the people and the culture. Or combing through the UitAgenda of The Hague or Facebook event calendar for fun activities in the area. And then going out together. Exchanging stories. Getting to know each other and having fun.
We are also open to providing activities at our location, residents are happy to help. For example, telling about countries, languages, cultures, making music and sharing food.
Would you like to contribute and participate? Then respond to the vacancy. Hopefully we can create a volunteer pool, so that we can undertake activities structurally.
Who are you?
- You are 18 years or older;
- Preferably available at least once every two weeks for a few hours to help with an activity;
- You make contact easily;
- Can you maintain a distance from the asylum seeker (you are not an advocate);
- You can submit a “Certificate of Conduct”.
