The Hague Online: Keeping Internationals Connected for 20 Years and Beyond
Did you know that 2024 marked The Hague Online’s 20th anniversary? Over the past two decades, The Hague Online has evolved and adapted to the needs of its readers. And now, as we step into 2025, exciting changes are on the horizon!
At Volunteer The Hague, we are proud to have been partners with The Hague Online for nearly 10 years. It has been a trusted source of local news, events, and updates for internationals in The Hague. Whether you're looking for local updates, cultural happenings, or opportunities to get involved, The Hague Online ensures that you stay informed in English.
What’s Coming in 2025?
- New E-newsletter Layout: The Hague Online has transitioned from MailChimp to a new system, bringing a refreshed look while maintaining its weekly updates. Be sure to check your inbox (and spam folder, just in case) for the latest edition!
- Change of Ownership: As Billy Allwood steps into semi-retirement, Renée Tentori has officially taken over as the new owner of The Hague Online in 2025, while Billy remains involved as Founder & Ambassador.
- Website Redesign: Thanks to continued support from Lemonberry company, The Hague Online is undergoing a complete website overhaul. The events calendar will have a new format, and various pages will get a fresh layout. Additionally, older content from the past 20 years will be archived, with only select articles returning. If you have any favorite pieces, now’s the time to save them!
