Walking is our residents' favorite activity. That's why we need you. Do you enjoy walking and can push a wheelchair? Come visit us...

Florence residential care center Houthaghe is located in Loosduinen on the Toon Dupuisstraat. Close to a small shopping center in the Houtwijk. We provide nursing home care to elderly people with a form of dementia and to elderly people with a physical disability.

Florence's vision is to “live the life you love”. Our mission is to facilitate and support the resident in this. Going outside means quality of life for most residents.

That's why we walk Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday afternoon with residents who like to go outside. The area is green and offers various options. During or after walking we have a drink together.

Due to the expansion of the walking groups, we are looking for reinforcements of our volunteers. It is important that you are physically able to accompany a resident in a wheelchair. We walk from 1.30 pm to 2.30 pm sometimes a little longer. The volunteers are present about half an hour before the start.
