The Viable Community is seeking a dedicated and responsible Content Creation Coordinator to join our team.
As a Content Creation Coordinator, you’ll oversee our content production activities, ensuring that all digital content aligns with our mission and supports our upcoming larger-scale initiatives. Working closely with team members, you’ll coordinate content efforts across multiple platforms, helping us engage a broader audience and highlight projects like our coming Agrivoltaics initiative in Spain, which combines renewable energy with sustainable agriculture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Coordination: Lead weekly content meetings, setting agendas, assigning tasks, and tracking progress. Coordinate with the Program Managers to keep the team aligned and ensure timely delivery.
- Content Strategy Development: Help define and implement our content plan alongside the Communication and Outreach Coordinator, building on our current communications framework to engage a wider audience.
- Content Production Management: Oversee the creation, editing, and scheduling of digital content, including posts, images, and videos, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Tool Training & Team Support: Provide support to team members in using tools like ClickUp, Slack, and Canva, fostering a collaborative and skilled team.
- Collaborative Integration: Work closely with other teams to ensure content aligns with broader marketing and outreach efforts, helping to expand our reach and engagement.
Requirements:
- Passionate about sustainability and digital storytelling.
- Highly organized with strong communication and coordination skills.
- Experience or familiarity with social media platforms and content management tools.
- Availability for a minimum of 6 months, with a preference for volunteers who can commit longer and are focused on nonprofit work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
Time Commitment:
- Minimum of 12 hours per week.
- Attendance at weekly coordination meetings and additional project check-ins as needed.
