Copywriters

The Viable Community is a sustainability organization that aims to protect and preserve nature. We are seeking self-motivated volunteers with experience in copywriting to collaborate with our content creation team and our outreach & communications team to craft compelling content that drives engagement and amplifies our organizations voice.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate with the Content Creation team to write engaging, high-quality content
• Partner with the Outreach&Communications team to create promotional materials and email outreach
• Work closely with designers and subject matter experts to produce integrated content campaigns
• Maintain and refine the organization's voice, tone, and style accross all communication channels
• Help shape the content strategy by contributing creative ideas for campaigns and projects
• Review and edit copy from various teams to ensure clarity, consistency, and organizational alignment
• Conduct quality control checks on content produced across different platforms

Time Commitment

• 6 hours a week but ideally more. 
• Meetings every week, usually in the evenings around 8pm for 1 to 2 hours. 
• Flexibility to complete tasks when you are available.  

Location

• Remote role that can be based anywhere
• Requires a computer and good internet connection.
