Chairman of the Board of the People's University of The Hague
Do you want to contribute to the growth of an accessible educational organization in the middle of the city? Do you have experience with strategic thinking, collaboration and management? Then this is an opportunity to make a real impact.
What are you going to do?
As chairman of the board:
- Provide direction to the strategic policy of the organization.
- Are you a sparring partner for the director and driving force within the board?
- Help us to further develop the Volksuniversiteit in collaboration with partners in the city.
- Think about reaching new target groups and strengthening the financial basis.
What are you taking with you?
- Administrative or strategic experience (preferably in education, culture or social domain).
- A strong network in The Hague.
- Affinity with education, social issues and lifelong learning.
- The willingness to commit yourself on a voluntary basis for a longer period of time.
