Who we are

Wool for Warmth is a non-profit organization committed to helping homeless people in The Hague by donating winter cloths. The network of knitters and crocheters transforms the old scraps of wool into beautiful hand knitted/crocheted winter gifts for the 39,300 homeless in The Netherlands.

We are looking for an energetic and experienced fundraising volunteer. Considering the challenging situation COVID-19 had created, we are taking the advantage of working online and continue to grow.

What you’ll do:

• Approaching business, local authorities, trusts and individuals to secure funding

• Planning donation campaigns and events

• Coming up with new ways to acquire funding

• Raising awareness of the charity and its work at local and national levels

• Building relationships with potential sponsors including individual community donors

• Writing applications and mails to reach a range of potential and current donors

What you’ll need:

• You have relevant fundraising experience

• The ability to meet financial targets

• Good organizational and project management skills

• Fluent in English

• Time to work as much as you want
