Summary

Join Rotaract Club The Hague International

Detailed description

Meet like-minded people and together contribute to society!

Are you new in the Hague? Or are you looking for new connections after two years mostly spent in isolation?

Are you looking for a way to help and serve your community but don’t know where to start?

Join the International Rotaract Club of The Hague now!

1/Make new friends and build your network!

Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young people. Rotaractors can be students or young professionals, who all want to give back to society, and connect locally (online and in person, on a weekly basis) in their communities as well as internationally with other Rotaract clubs, to make a global impact. To date, our 20 members come from 15 different countries and about two thirds of us are students and the remaining third are young professionals. Partner clubs that we engage with on a regular basis are on a national level Rotaract Groningen and on an international level Rotaract Nazareth.

Come help us and be part of the change!

2/Give back to your community

Join an organization with like-minded people! Rotaract gives you an opportunity to be involved in your community at your level, making a difference and a positive change through projects and volunteering. Past projects involve cooking with children with down-syndrome, educational activities on the ethics of veganism, as well as fund raisers for various charities. Project currently in planning are a “Movathon” to collect funds for a charity, ongoing collection of supplies for displaced people within Ukraine and “Spreading Kindndess” , an event in collaboration with local flower shops.

3/Share and build new skills

Rotaract gives you the opportunity to not only learn from each other with knowledge sharing but also to learn by doing while working on projects and initiatives, and interact with people from other walks of life, such as people in need and people from the Rotary club.
