Volunteer with hospitality experience for Emma's Hof

Are you an organizational hospitality hero and do you want to contribute to a green and pleasant neighborhood?

Emma's Hof, the beautiful city garden in the Regentessekwartier in The Hague, is looking for a volunteer with catering experience who enjoys managing other volunteers and coordinating catering during our events. This includes organizing activities in Holke's Huisje during events such as the Christmas Market and St. Martin's Day.

What are you going to do?

• Coordinating the catering for our events.

• Preparing supplies: checking stock (coffee, tea, sugar, coffee creamer, etc.) and placing orders.

• Instruct and supervise volunteers during catering activities.

• Organize logistics: create logical layouts for points of sale and prepare equipment (such as cash registers and warming units).

• Provide a hospitable and efficient service to visitors.

• Monitor the overview and supplies during the event.

• Coordinate clean-up activities afterwards.

Who are we looking for?

• Someone with hospitality experience, preferably with a background in managing a team.

• An enthusiastic team player who knows how to motivate others.

• Organizational talent: you maintain an overview and have an eye for detail.

• Available during the preparations and the event itself.

• Affinity with neighborhood initiatives and sustainability.
