Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Secretary.

Detailed description

Role Overview:

As Secretary you will provide essential administrative support to the board, ensuring that meetings are well organised, records are maintained, and communication flows smoothly between board members and the wider community.


Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and distribute agendas, minutes, and reports for board meetings.

- Keep accurate records of board discussions, decisions, and actions.

- Handle correspondence on behalf of the board, ensuring timely responses.

- Maintain important documents and ensure that the café complies with legal and regulatory requirements.

- Serve as the main point of contact for the board’s administrative needs.


Skills & Qualities:

- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.

- Good written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

- Prior experience in an administrative or secretarial role is preferred

- Commitment to promoting diversity, inclusion, and community engagement.

The Hungry Mind is a dynamic international community centre serving both the local residents of Loosduinen and the diverse international community of The International School of The Hague.
