Welcome to Viable Community, a non-profit organization based in the European Union dedicated to community-managed projects focused on preserving and regenerating nature. We are currently looking for a Project Development Coordinator, to share this role with our current coordinator and help guide the team in finding, developing, and implementing new and existing projects.
We are seeking a responsible co-coordinator to help bring our Business Case/Plans to completion, and develop new projects. This role involves leading a small team of skilled volunteers in the creation of our project plan and coordinating all communications and tasks. Including coordinating and consulting with external experts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation of the project plan in collaboration with a small team of volunteers
- Coordinate all communications and tasks related to the project plan
- Ensure timely completion of project milestones and deliverables
- Facilitate short, focused weekly coordination meetings to enhance efficiency and collaboration
- Participate in circle governance meetings to discuss processes and make decisions
Qualifications:
- Strong project management skills and experience
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Ability to work independently and lead a team
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack, ClickUp, and other online tools
- Passion for sustainability and nature preservation
