Project Assistant for Training about Veganism and/or Gender Equity

We’re looking for someone to assist in the development and preparation of one or both of the following training courses:

• The Plant Based Movement, about advocating for veganism. This project is currently in its development phase.
• Equal at Work, about promoting gender equity in the workplace environment. This project is currently in its preparation phase.

Key responsibilities:

For The Plant Based Movement:

• Build the Project's Youth-Led Approach: Bring a group of participants together and actively involve them in the project design.
• Co-design the Activity Programme: Assist in creating engaging and educational activities promoting plant-based living.
• Write the Funding Application: Contribute to drafting a compelling funding application to secure financial resources.
• Feed our social media team: provide them with project developments and topic-related knowledge and insights.

For Equal at Work:

• Create recruitment materials: design compelling infopacks, flyers and posts for recruiting businesses and young professionals
• Reaching out: finding and contacting businesses and other organisations to delegate young professionals to take part.
• Arrange Logistics: Organize and manage logistical aspects of the project as it progresses.
• Feed our social media team: provide them with project developments and topic-related knowledge and insights.

Skills & Qualifications:

In general:

• Committed to Societal Change: A strong intrinsic motivation to inclusive, sustainable and just societies.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to think ahead, identify potential opportunities and threats, and put puzzle pieces together.
• Excellent Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration, including being open to giving and receiving feedback.

Specifically for The Plant Based Movement:

• Affinity with veganism.
• Experience with project initiation and project writing is a huge plus.

Specifically for Equal at Work:

• Being a young professional, or at least being well aware of the context in which young professionals operate.
• Pitching and sales skills to get businesses and organisations on board.
• Affinity with gender (in)equality in the context of the workplace environment is a huge plus.
