Summary
As a Move in 1 day trainer, you volunteer to organize a fun activity for a neighborhood in The Hague with a group of children.Detailed description
The Move Foundation is committed to equal chances for all children and teenagers, to their talent development, and to breaking society's bubbles. In our projects we connect students and young professionals to children that get fewer chances than their peers. Together, they organize a fun action for the neighbourhood, to show the children their worth, talents, and how much fun it is to do something for the people around you.
As a trainer, you will work with a fellow trainer for 1 or 2 afternoons to organize a fun activity in a neighbourhood in The Hague. Together with a group of children (10-12) you will brainstorm about the neighbourhood, what can be improved and you will come up with and organize a fun action for the neighbourhood. In doing so, the children are given ownership in coming up with and executing the idea and you are there to support them in this.
In practical terms this means the following:
- You will be trained by us in advance about both the project and didactics. The training lasts 1.5 hours and will take place at the office in The Hague or online.
- You lead the project with another volunteer and the group consists of approximately 10-20 students.
- You love being in front of a class, working with children and getting creative. You don't need to have experience, as long as you enjoy it and are enthusiastic about being in front of the class!

About Stichting Move
In all our projects, encounters are central: children, young people and students discover other worlds together and broaden their perspective. Bubbles break and the distance between people decreases. Move connects and broadens perspectives!
